Reigns accepte que des fans décident de le huer

Après avoir reçu un solide appui des fans depuis qu’il a annoncé qu’il avait la leucémie – et après l’avoir combattue – , Roman Reigns est de nouveau accueilli par un certain nombre de huées lors des événements et émissions de télé de la WWE.

Les huées ne sont pas aussi nombreuses qu’auparavant (soit avant l’annonce sur la leucémie), mais on les entend tout de même clairement à travers la foule. Reigns ne s’en fait toutefois pas, si on en croit ses propos recueillis par Sporting News.

Il rappelle que les fans ont le droit de s’exprimer comme ils le veulent, que ça soit par des réactions positives ou négatives. Pour Reigns, l’important est qu’il suscite des émotions lors de ses présences dans le ring.

“I want the fans to do what they want to do. I want to do what I want to do and that’s perform for them. That’s the relationship. That’s what’s so beautiful about our entertainment: We do it together. It’s not like we make it, we work on it, we send it out. No. We make it with the audience. As long as they are achieving what they set out to do when they come to these shows and that’s to have a good time, to get lost in it – whether it’s cheering or booing – as long as you’re having an emotional connection, that’s all I care about because I don’t want you to pay your money and then come here and sit on your hands. I want you to go nuts whether it’s in a good or a bad way. I want you to go crazy and have a great time and disconnect from the world and escape with us.”

Reigns avoue que son horaire est bien rempli car il lutte à la fois pour RAW et Smackdown Down depuis l’arrivée du Wild Card Rule. Mais il ajoute que c’est normal en tant que lutteur. “The Big Dog” profite du moment présent et veut être fier de lui lorsque, dans plusieurs années, il pensera à ses accomplissements durant sa carrière dans le ring.

“It’s been crazy. It’s been a busy month between the shakeup and what the wild card brings. With the European tour and two weeks there, doing both TV [shows], we had Money in the Bank, ‘Raw,’ and ‘SmackDown,’ it’s been crazy, but that’s what it’s all about. I signed up to be a WWE Superstar and to live the fast life and these are the crazy opportunities and this is the schedule that we run. It can be hard at times, but I think in hindsight whenever I’m an old man and I look back, I think I’ll be pretty proud of a week like this.”
