Zelina Vega, qui avait été libérée de son contrat avec la WWE en novembre 2020, a fait récemment son retour au sein de la compagnie. Et elle en est ravie.
En entrevue pour Digital Spy, Vega sentait lors de son départ qu’elle avait encore beaucoup à faire à la WWE, dont devenir championne.
Elle vise actuellement le titre féminin de Smackdown, prenant ce défi au sérieux.
“I think, more than anything, WWE has always been a place that I felt like I had some kind of unfinished business with, and, for me as a kid, you look and you’re like, ‘I want to be a champion’. There’s so many things that you want to accomplish and coming back. I set my eyes on the SmackDown Women’s Championship,” said Zelina Vega, “And that’s what I’m focused on the most and seeing where that takes me.”
Vega devait revenir comme face, mais elle a changé d’idée car selon elle, c’est meilleur pour les histoires entourant son personnage d’être détestée des fans.
