Le lutteur britannique Zack Sabre Jr. a décroché le titre mondial de New Japan Pro Wrestling pour la première fois de sa carrière.

Sabre Jr. a vaincu Tetsuya Naito lors de l’événement King of Pro Wrestling.

Il avait obtenu la chance d’affronter Naito en remportant le tournoi G1 Climax.

Sabre Jr. affrontera Sanada la semaine prochaine, lors de l’événement Royal Quest.
