WM 33: The Undertaker a détesté son combat contre Reigns

En entrevue pour ESPN, afin de promouvoir la série documentaire “The Last Ride” – diffusée sur le WWE Network -, The Undertaker a confié qu’il a détesté son combat contre Roman Reigns à Wrestlemania 33.

The Undertaker, qui n”était déjà pas en grande forme avant l’affrontement, affirme qu’il était vraiment déçu de sa performance dans le ring. Le fait d’être filmé en coulisses ne l’a pas aidé, ajoute-t-il, précisant d’ailleurs qu’il a longtemps évité de regarder le combat par la suite.

“That was one of those times it was tough having the cameras there. That was the first time that I watched that match back. I was so disgusted with it that I didn’t want to watch it back.”

The Undertaker n’aime d’ailleurs pas en général revoir ses combats à la télévision, sachant que depuis quelques années il bouge moins rapidement dans le ring.

“The Phenom” mentionne qu’il a voulu faire son possible pour Reigns, mais qu’il n’aurait pas dû l’affronter dans le ring.

“[Watching that match], I’m battling with it. I was so disappointed for Roman. Even after Brock Lesnar beat the streak, for guys coming up to have a match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania — especially where Roman was at — it was important for his career. Especially because he was going over. For me, in that role, I wanted to do the very best that I could do for Roman. I think the world of him. You want to be able to do the best you can for him, and you know you have no business being in the ring.”
