Un “push” majeur pour Brendan Vick ?

Brendan Vick, qui n’était pas comme tel une grande star à NXT, a réussi tout de même à attirer l’attention de la WWE et ainsi joindre rapidement RAW.

PWInsider souligne que la WWE voit en lui un projet à long terme, tout comme Braun Strowman qui n’a pas eu à faire ses preuves à NXT.

Le lutteur australien aurait été l’objet d’un “push” important au sein de la promotion indy EVOLVE, mais la crise du coronavirus a bouleversé les plans. Mais la WWE a décidé de foncer et de le jumeler actuellement avec un autre lutteur australien, Shane Thorne, qui faisait partie de l’équipe TM61 à NXT aux côtés de Nick Miller.

“Brendan Vink has been a project for a while in development territory. At EVOLVE they were building it. If he hadn’t left, they would have given him a bigger boost. The idea (in WWE) is to give Brendan Vink a boost. I was told this is the beginning of trying to get Brendan Vink to become a star and start construction so that he gets a long-term boost. A person discovered the situation for me by talking about when Braun Strowman was part of the Wyatt Family. When Vince McMahon saw him as a future she to build on in the long term. That’s where Brendan Vink is now.”

Lundi dernier, Vick et Thorne ont d’ailleurs vaincu nul autre que Ricochet et Cedric Alexander à RAW. Les deux lutteurs australiens ont le soutien de MVP, qui pourrait devenir leur gérant sur une base régulière.
