Bully Ray, alias Bubba Ray Dudley, gravit les échelons rapidement pour son retour à Impact Wrestling.
Hier soir, Josh Alexander a défait Frankie Kazarian pour ainsi demeurer champion de la compagnie lors de l’événement Over Drive.
Après le match, Bully Ray est venu féliciter Alexander, soutenant que ce match fut un bel exemple pour la lutte professionnelle et qu’Alexander est le meilleure champion au monde.
Bully Ray, qui a remporté le “Call Your Shot gauntlet match”, a défié Alexander pour un combat de championnat en lui serrant la main. Alexander a accepté le défi.
Mais Bully Ray a retrouvé son attitude “heel” en frappant le champion avec une botte pendant qu’il discutait avec sa conjointe aux abords du ring. Bully Ray s’est ensuite servi d’une chaise, pour ensuite attacher Alexander à un câble du ring.
Bully Ray a même menacé d’appliquer un marteau-pilon à Jade, la conjointe d’Alexander.
Les deux lutteurs s’affronteront à Hard to Kill le 13 janvier, à Atlanta.
