Un long congé pour Jordan Oliver

Jordan Oliver, un jeune lutteur qui fait sensation sur la scène indy, devra rater jusqu’à un an d’action dans le ring.

Lors de l’événement Worst Behavior de Game Changer Wrestling, le 5 juillet, Oliver a défait Charles Mason. Par la suite, Mason a attaqué un genou déjà mal en point d’Oliver, avec entre autres une chaise.

Mason s’est vanté d’avoir terminé la carrière de son adversaire.

Olivier a confirmé sur X que sa blessure est réelle et qu’il avait été avisé par les médecins, en juin, qu’un de ses genoux était vraiment amoché.

Malgré cette déchirure du ligament croisé antérieur, Olivier a choisi de continuer à lutter. Il sera donc en congé pour au moins neuf mois.

“Over the past weekend in Toronto, Charles Mason took it upon himself to turn my 6-9 [month out recovery window] into a 9-12. And I will definitely be on the shelf for some time. I’ve been wrestling for a long time and wrestling is all that I know so this is going to be very tough for me. If there’s anyone that can get through this and overcome it, I think it’s me.”
