Jonathan Coachman, un ex-commentateur et interviewer à la WWE, croit que Paul “Triple H” Levesque quittera cette compagnie d’ici 18 mois.
En entrevue pour le podcast The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling, “The Coach” a mentionné que Triple H, qui dirige l’équipe créative de la WWE, est en conflit depuis longtemps avec Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Il parle de lutte de pouvoir entre Triple H et The Rock (un des dirigeants de TKO), affirmant être en contact avec deux personnes qui peuvent témoigner de la situation.
“And from my time there and my time with the Rock, I know for a fact that he does not get along with Triple H. That does not go away. They’ve always been butting heads for years and years for a lot of different reasons,” he said. “The reason I said on my show there’s a big power struggle. Well, first of all, I’ve talked to two people close to the situation, and they’ve told me, but I can’t tell you who they are, but I’ve got really good intel.”
Coachman ajoute que TKO veut faire de la WWE un simple produit de divertissement, ce qui n’est pas dans la vision de Triple H ou même de celle qu’avait Vince McMahon.
Il croit donc que Triple H quittera d’ici 18 mois, ce qui le rend triste.
Coachman reproche toutefois à Triple H d’avoir livré un discours d’une heure et 38 minutes lors de la cérémonie du Hall of Fame de la WWE, manquant ainsi de respect à Bret Hart et Stone Cold Steve Austin (honorés pour leur match à Wrestlemania 13).
“And we predicted that within 18 months, Triple H will not be running WWE anymore. I actually feel kind of bad for him because I’ve always really, really liked him. But look at what happened at WrestleMania. He gets inducted into the Hall of Fame for the third time. An hour and 37 minute speech at 1 in the morning. You’re overscheduling the entire week, there’s nothing free for fans to go to, and then at WrestleMania, you’re going to disrespect Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin and walk them out with everybody else to give a wave to the crowd, and you get your own water music entrance right next to those guys.”
Coachman confie que selon lui, The Rock aimerait que l’ancien scripteur de la WWE Brian Gewirtz remplace Triple H.
