En entrevue pour le magazine britannique GQ, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson a mentionné – tout comme il l’a fait dans le passé – qu’il pourrait suivre les traces de l’ex-lutteur Jesse “The Body” Ventura et se lancer en politique.
The Rock ajoute même qu’il n’est pas impossible qu’il tente éventuellement sa chance à la présidence américaine. Ce n’est pas nécessairement dans les plans pour maintenant, mais la possibilité d’être élu gouverneur ou même président ne lui déplait pas du tout.
S’il se présente en politique, The Rock aimerait créer un réel impact dans la vie des gens à l’échelle mondiale.
“I’ll be honest, I haven’t ruled politics out. I’m not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure. I can’t deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives on a global scale. But there are a lot of other things I want to do first.”
