Le controversé ex-annonceur, scripteur en chef et gérant Jim Cornette a répliqué, sur son podcast à de récentes allégations dans le cadre du mouvement #SpeakingOut.
Un lutteur indy, sous le surnom de @AKI_Evolution, a accusé Cornette et sa conjointe Stacy d’avoir forcé les lutteurs qui souhaitent lutter à la Ohio Valley Wrestling d’avoir des actes sexuels avec Stacy, alors que Jim regardait le tout.
“My experience with them is tame compared to others, though. When Jim was booking at OVW, if you wanted a contract or on his show, you HAD to perform sexual acts on his wife, many times with him watching. This has happened for many, MANY people.”
Le lutteur ajoute que Stacy Cornette l’a harcelé à plusieurs reprises afin d’avoir des relations sexuelles.

Cornette soutient qu’aucune menace ou faveur n’était impliquée lorsqu’il donnait des “pushs” à cettains lutteurs.
“I pushed all the people I should have and half the people I shouldn’t have, but everybody got a shot and it was not given out on any fears or favors for anything.”
Il ajoute que personne ne s’est plaint publiquement auparavant quant à un possible harcèlement sexuel.
“This wouldn’t have come up by now, as many f***in’ horrible things? Not one person that I ever supposedly made that offer at that time, ever privately, publicly stated it to anybody, eccetra.”
“I have never offered any wrestler, male or female, preferential treatment, a job a contract or push or anything else related to their employment or threatened the same or the opposite if they would or would not engage in ribald relations with me or my wife. No quid pro quo, not tit for tat as they say in some of these cases.”
