Retour possible à la WWE: Matt Cardona veut vraiment faire sa marque

Si Matt Cardona fait son retour à la WWE, il veut que ça soit percutant.

Après 15 ans à la WWE (surtout en tant que Zack Ryder), la compagnie l’a libéré de son contrat en 2020. Il a su se réinventer sur le circuit indy = dont à la NWA et à Game Changer Wrestling -, luttant également brièvement à la AEW et démontrant son talent à Impact Wrestling.

En entrevue pour le podcast Heated Shenanigans, Cardona a mentionné que son retour à la WWE ne se passerait pas de la même manière qu’auparavant.

Il veut vraiment prouver sa valeur et faire sa marque au sein de la WWE.

“I’m not gonna come back to, you know, just be on the show. I would never go back just to be back. I’ve been on the roster. I was there. Very fortunate for my time there. Spent over a decade there. But I did the whole just a guy on the roster thing. I have no desire to do that again. If I’m gonna be there, I wanna matter. And I think I proved over the past three years that I’m more than capable of holding my own. And if I ever get that opportunity again, I think I’ll prove that to the world.”

Cardona a récemment annoncé son départ d’Impact Wrestling. Sa conjointe Chelsea Green lutte actuellement à la WWE.
