Dans sa promo en duo avec MJF, au début de Dynamite hier soir, CM Punk en a profité pour complimenter Britt Baker.
Punk a alors affirmé que la championne de la AEW a remplacé MJF dans le groupe des “quatre piliers” (4 pillars) de la compagnie.
Baker a remercié Punk, tout en demandant qu’elle remplace MJF sur les t-shirts de la AEW portant sur ces quatre futures grandes stars (MJF, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara et Jungle Boy).

Après l’émission, CM Punk s’est amusé à porter le veston de Baker, mais c’était un peu trop pour elle.

Ce fut une soirée occupée pour Baker sur les médias sociaux, alors que Mick Foley l’a accusée d’être jalouse de Thunder Rosa.
Baker a répliqué vivement, lui promettant une photo de Rosa car il semble être obsédé par elle.

Punk a déjà auparavant vanté Baker à Chicago, soit lors de son arrivée à la AEW. Il affirmait alors se sentir aussi bien accueilli que la championne de la AEW à Pittsburgh.
Baker avait réagi positivement, étant très heureuse qu’une idole de jeunesse la nomme durant une promo.
“So you gotta remember I am a fan. I grew up watching CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Christian, Matt Hardy. So all these guys I get to work with now is surreal. It’s like a ‘pinch me’ moment. That my idols are my co-workers.”
“So I am in the back at the screen watching as a fan, watching CM Punk and he says my name, I am like ‘Did everybody hear that?’ I mean it’s so cool. Sure, we share the stage and we are both stars but that’s somebody that I was a fan of. So that’s a very very cool feeling as a wrestler, as a wrestling fan, for someone you idolize to say your name.”
