New Japan perd une autre star… pour la WWE?

Après Kenny Omega, c’est au tour de Kushida de quitter New Japan Pro Wrestling.

L’ex-IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion et membre du clan Time Splitter sera agent libre à partir de février.

L’annonce a été faite lors d’une conférence de presse dans les quartiers généraux de New Japan. Kushida assure que le départ se fait dans l’harmonie, parlant d’une décision majeure et remerciant la direction de New Japan pour sa compréhension. Il souhaite explorer d’autres horizons ailleurs dans le monde.

“Regarding this choice and decision, it was one made with the full co-operation and understanding of Mr. Kidani, Mr. Meij and Mr. Sugabayashi. It was a very big decision in my life and I’m thankful they understood. As for the future, I would like to see the wide world of professional wrestling with my own eyes, from one end of the earth to the other.”

Kushida faisait partie de New Japan Pro Wrestling depuis 8 ans. Joindra-t-il la WWE, Ring of Honor (où il a déjà été Television Champion) ou la All Elite Wrestling? The Wrestling Observer suggère qu’il pourrait joindre NXT.
