Partenariat entre New Japan et AEW: pas pour le moment selon Nick Jackson

Nous vous rapportions Chris Jericho a tenté d’établir un rapprochement entre New Japan Pro Wrestling et la All Elite Wrestling en affrontant Hiroshi Tanahashi à Wrestle Kingdom 14, avec comme stipulation la possibilité d’un autre combat avec le titre de la AEW à l’enjeu.

Nick Jackson, des Young Bucks, croit toutefois que Jericho a avant tout fait ce geste pour créer de la publicité sur Internet. En entrevue pour le podcast de ESPN West Palm, les portes de New Japan ne sont pas du tout ouvertes à la AEW.

“Yeah, that was just a rumor, nothing happening. I think [Chris Jericho] just did that to get the internet to talk a little bit more about the situation. But the door has not opened up at all.”

Jackson souhaite bonne chance à ceux qui tentent d’établir un partenariat entre les deux compagnies, car il a plusieurs amis au sein de New Japan.

“We wish them luck in what they are doing because like Matt said with NXT, a lot of our friends work in New Japan. Most of them are our friends. We have friends everywhere in the wrestling world. If something came along then we would be open, but nothing is happening right now.”
