Lors de la présentation du plus récent bilan financier de la WWE, le président Vince McMahon a soutenu que le “brand extension” (personnels de lutteurs distincts pour RAW et Smackdown Live) est un grand succès.
McMahon mentionne que des lutteurs pourraient être transférés d’une division à l’autre prochainement, ce qui ajoutera un aspect rafraîchissant.
“It’s working extremely well, it’s working exactly like we thought it would. There is some crossover, which is what we wanted. But at the same time, we’re introducing new viewers.
“You have fresh talent coming from one brand to the next. So in essence, if you haven’t seen a Roman Reigns on SmackDown, then when he does – if and when he does – then that’s really a big thing. It freshens up talent, and it gives us a much longer range in terms of the use of those talents and the IP that goes with them.”
McMahon mentionne que le nombre grandissant d’événements non télévisés permet de créer des nouvelles stars.

Bryan Alvarez, de Wrestling Observer Live, mentionne que des changements ont été apportés à la cage qui servira dimanche, lors de l’événement Elimination Chamber.
Il semble que ces améliorations porteraient sur le poids de la cage, qui était autrefois trop massif (près de dix tonnes), ce qui compliquait sa manipulation dans les arénas.
