Ranallo était au micro lors du match final opposant Kenny Omega à Rich Swann. Sur son podcast Maurologue, Ranallo a affirmé avoir beaucoup de plaisir en compagnie de Matt Striker et de D-Lo Brown à la table des annonceurs. Il a également vraiment apprécié le match principal.
“I’ve got to tell you, I had a blast working with D-Lo Brown and Matt Striker and what a match between AEW Champion Kenny Omega and Unified IMPACT belt-holder Rich Swann in a title-for-title mega main event.”
Ranallo n’a pas précisé s’il retournera avec Impact Wrestling, mais a déclaré que sa passion a été allumée de nouveau pour la lutte professionnelle. Il a remercié le vice-président Scott D’Amore et la compagnie de lutte en général. Le commentateur a aimé le respect qui lui a été donné, soulignant la qualité des lutteurs en place, un bon mélange de recrues et de vétérans.
“A big thank you to Scott D’Amore and all the people at IMPACT Wrestling for making me feel so welcome. It reminded me of, honestly, when I started my career at 16. Yeah, last night reignited my passion for professional wrestling. Very chill, relaxed atmosphere – a lot of support, a lot of respect, and a lot of hungry and determined roster comprising some decorated vets and some very talented up-and-comers.”
Ranallo souligne par ailleurs que le PPV a été l’objet de réactions très positives, ce qui selon lui est un des plus populaires d’Impact Wrestling depuis un certain temps.
