Marcus Mathers, un lutteur âgé de 23 ans qui fait sensation sur le circuit indy et qui a quitté récemment le programme WWE ID, a signé un contrat avec la AEW et Ring of Honor.
Mathers a affronté Mark Davis lors des récents enregistrements de ROH.
Il a mentionné, dans une entrevue en coulisses, qu’il est prêt à relever ce nouveau défi et qu’il sera le meilleur parmi les lutteurs de cette promotion.
“This moment means everything to me. Let me tell you, ever since I was a kid, 6-7-8 my dad would take me to the Philadelphia armory, watching Ring of Honor, watching the world’s best wrestlers and I didn’t realise at the time but I was studying. I was preparing for this moment and I said Philadelphia. For the past 8 years, like you said, around the world, throughout those 900 matches at 23 years old. I’ve been bringing that Philly grit, that Philly attitude everywhere I go and now it’s time I bring it to Ring of Honor. Ring of Honor has the world’s best but now you’re gonna get the world’s finest.”
