Wrestling Observer Newsletter rapporte que Lucha Underground n’a pas officiellement fait connaître sa décision quant à une nouvelle session d’enregistrements télé.
Plusieurs lutteurs sont en attente d’une confirmation de cette nouvelle saison, refusant pour le moment d’autres engagements en août et en septembre.
Les officiels croient cependant qu’il y aura bel et bien une seconde saison. Un des objectifs est de convaincre AR Fox, une ancienne star de EVOLVE, de joindre la compagnie.

En entrevue pour “Extra Mustard”, une section du site Web de Sports Illustrated, Bret Hart a critiqué le “Muscle buster” de Samoa Joe. Il considère que c’est une prise très dangereuse.
It’s (Joe’s Muscle Buster) extremely dangerous. The move that Samoa Joe did was reckless, and the way they rushed that match beforehand in the back without giving Tyson time to prepare was mistake. Tyson is, pound for pound, one of the best wrestlers in the world. And that includes his mind. If you went behind the scenes at WWE, Tyson is an intricate piece of so many other matches. It’s a shame that a guy who is that talented and given so much to the company is hurt, but I just hope it’s not so serious that his career is over.
Et sans l’accuser directement de négligence, il déplore le fait que Tyson Kidd se soit blessé après avoir subi cette prise de Joe et qu’il ait probablement à subir une chirurgie, le laissant sur la touche pendant longtemps.
