Selon The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Johnny Gargano et Candice LeRae feront leur retour dans le ring très prochainement.
Gargano n’a pas lutté depuis l’événement NXR WarGames, le 5 décembre. Sa conjointe a accouché d’un bébé, prénommé Quinn, en février.
Meltzer ne précise pas dans quelle promotion de lutte le couple poursuivra sa carrière, mais la AEW cherche activement à recruter LeRae.
Si Gargano retourne à la WWE, ce ne sera pas à NXT à cause de la nouvelle orientation, basée sur des lutteurs plus jeunes.
La AEW serait la destination idéale pour Gargano, mais la compagnie embauche moins d’agents libres car le personnel de lutteurs est très imposant. Par contre, ce serait une très belle addition étant donné qu’il a une très bonne réputation. Il pourrait également lutter à Impact Wrestling, mais le salaire serait moins intéressant.

Gargano has an open door to WWE but also the realization that he’ll be able to make money but not be pushed since NXT is focusing on younger people and while he may be able to get a main roster spot, it’s unlikely they’ll do anything with him.
At one point him as a free agent going to AEW seemed like a no-brainer but the AEW roster has so many people as compared to the TV time they have to focus on. I think coming right off his contract expiring he’d have been considered a hot signee, and obviously he’s a very talented wrestler who can have great matches and has a name from NXT.
He very possibly could be a top guy in Impact and one would think they’d hire him, but there’s a lot less money there.”
