Jeff Hardy explique l’incident menant à son départ de la WWE

Jeff Hardy a commenté son fameux départ de la WWE, alors qu’il avait quitté l’aréna en plein match lors d’un événement non télévisé.

Il a expliqué la situation sur le podcast The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy.

Hardy soutient que certaines choses arrivent pour une raison, ajoutant qu’il a été guidé par quelque chose de plus fort que lui.

“Certain things happen for a reason. Subconsciously, that was maybe the smartest thing I’ve ever done, guided by something higher than me, I’ll say. The best way I can describe my journey the last few months in WWE was like ‘glimmers of hope, maybe I still do have something.’”

Hardy a perdu espoir d’avoir un rôle majeur au sein de la WWE. Il affirme ne pas avoir été sous l’effet d’Une substance quelconque lors de cet événement à Edinburg, au Texas, qui fut sa dernière présence au sein de la compagnie.

Il ne regrette pas son geste, affirmant se sentir beaucoup mieux au sein de la AEW.

“That night in Edinburg, Texas, I finished my heat, I took the heat, and I said, ‘I’m ready to go’. Went over the rail, disappeared into the crowd. Naturally, they think I took something like drugs or whatever, but I didn’t. If I was that bad, I should have never went out there, that’s the way I see it.

I thought, ‘Just another unpredictable thing I can do and I’ll get away with it’. It was more serious than that. Again, it was one of the smartest things I’ve ever done because everything worked out so perfectly, mainly because my first day in AEW, I felt valuable for the first time.”

Jeff Hardy affirme avoir des frissons en pensant à l’accueil et à l’amour qu’il a obtenus depuis son arrivée à la AEW. Selon lui, la WWE le gardait uniquement pour vendre des figurines à son effigie.
