Oui, vous avez bien lu. Impact Wrestling, jadis diffusé notamment sur Spike TV (un réseau câblé populaire aux États-Unis), sera désormais disponible en terre américaine… sur un réseau spécialisé en chasse et en pêche.
L’ex-TNA vient d’annoncer que dès le vendredi 11 janvier, son émission hebdomadaire Impact Wrestling quittera Pop TV pour Pursuit Channel. Auparavant, la diffusion était le jeudi soir.
Ed Norholm, président d’Impact Wrestling, assure que c’est un endroit parfait pour la compagnie Anthem (qui détient d’ailleurs des parts dans Pursuit Channel).
“Pursuit Channel is a natural fit for IMPACT! It has a passionate viewership base that correlates strongly with our core audience, and is one of the few broadcast destinations that is expanding its footprint, enjoying a 15% increase in broadcast distribution this year alone. With IMPACT Wrestling coming off a tremendous year of audience growth globally and positive fan engagement, we look forward to leveraging our respective resources to bring fans more of the wrestling content they want to see: tougher, edgier action.”
