Les indices et références à l’arrivée imminente de CM Punk à la AEW se multiplient, souvent avec humour.
Ainsi, hier soir, en tant que commentateur pour la Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC), Punk a évoqué les termes “all elite” dans un échange avec son collègue John Partner.
“Like in the first round, Hoffman is just returning to his wrestling. You know what I’m saying, Punk? Returning to his wrestling.”

Par ailleur hier, le commentateur Adam Rank, qui travaille pour le NFL Network, a évoqué la plus que probable arrivée de CM Punk à la AEW vendredi soir.
Il a souligné que le quart-arrière recrue Justin Fields, qui fera ses débuts pour les Bears de Chicago, sera le début le plus attendu dans cette ville jusqu’à vendredi, alors que Punk sera vraisemblablement à Rampage.
“I think that was the most-anticipated debut in Chicago until Friday when, presumably, CM Punk shows up on AEW.”
