L’autobiographie de Pat Patterson, membre du Hall of Fame de la WWE, premier champion intercontinental de l’histoire et instigateur du Royal Rumble, sera lancée en août par ECW Press.
Le livre « Accepted: How the First Gay Superstar Changed WWE » mettra l’emphase sur la lutte de Patterson, en tant qu’homosexuel, face aux modèles “macho” véhiculés par la lutte professionnelle.
Notre chroniqueur Bertrand Hébert, déjà connu en tant qu’auteur de livres sur la lutte en compagnie de Pat Laprade (“Maurice Mad Dog Vachon”, “À la semaine prochaine, si Dieu le veut!”, “Mad Dogs, Midgets and Screw Jobs”) a collaboré à la rédaction de ce livre. Vince McMahon a quant à lui signé la préface.
