Alors que plusieurs lutteurs souhaitent souligner leur éventuelle retraite du ring de manière spectaculaire, Chris Jericho ne souhaite pas que ça arrive.
En entrevue pour Fite in Focus, Jericho a soutenu que lorsqu’il souhaitera quitter la lutte, ça se fera sans tournée d’adieu ou événement flamboyant.
“When I’m done, there’s not going to be a retirement tour, there’s not going to be big pomp and circumstance. I’ll be done. I’ll go somewhere else and do what I want to do.”
Jericho n’est toutefois pas encore prêt à prendra sa retraite. Il affirme que la lutte est devenue plus amusante pour lui depuis quelques années.
Jericho ajoute qu’il est en excellente forme et que sa rivalité actuelle avec Eddie Kingston, à la AEW, lui plaît beaucoup.
“Right now, I’m in the best shape of my life, we have a really good story going on with Eddie Kingston that has a lot of layers to come. To me, that’s enough to sit back and enjoy myself. When I’m enjoying myself, there’s no reason to change anything.”
