En entrevue pour The Belfast Telegraph – alors qu’il faisait la promotion du film “Playing With Fire” – , John Cena a manifesté son grand amour pour la WWE.
Cena espère être toujours perçu comme une star de la WWE. Il affirme que la WWE est pour lui sa famille.
Cena ajoute que son âge l’empêche d’offrir le même niveau de performance et que le cinéma lui a donné de belles opportunités, mais que la WWE fait toujours partie de lui.
“I hope they always view me as a member of the WWE, because I am. Whether it’s watching the events or being able to participate, any chance I’m given to answer this question, WWE is my family. It’s weird that the culture is, you either do this or you do that, and for 20 years I’ve been trying to tell people, ‘No, it’s all really cool’. So I don’t ever want to not be known as a WWE superstar. I can’t perform as much as the current ones, because I’m a little bit older, and I have these cool opportunities to do other stuff, but in doing other stuff, I’m not saying that world is shut off. I’m trying to bring this world with me, so we can all be involved in a movie conversation, or a WrestleMania conversation.”

Après que l’ex-lutteur Fit Finlay a souligné que son fils David Finlay et Juice Robinson sont devenus les nouveaux champions par équipe poids-lourds de New Japan Pro Wrestling, la réaction de The Revival ne s’est pas faite attendre.
Le duo, qui a promis des grands changements en 2020 et qui songe à quitter la WWE, souhaite en effet affronter Finlay et Robinson.
Dawson a confirmé ce souhait sur Twitter. Ce serait assurément tout un combat…
