Cagematch: Survivor Series pire que Wrestlepalooza?

Lorsque la WWE a présenté son événement Wrestlepalooza le 20 septembre, soit le premier PLE sur la plateforme américaine ESPN, les critiques ont été très dures.

Sur le site Cagematch, bien connu auprès des fans de la lutte, la cote actuelle accordée par ses lecteurs est de 5,72, avec de nombreux commentaires pas très élogieux.

Au moment d’écrire cette nouvelle, la note pour Survivor Series: WarGames, présenté hier soir par la WWE, est de… 3,82.

Voici quelques exemples de commentaires.

[4.0] “A very disappointing show from WWE. A 4 match card and none of the matches were great. Best match of the night was the main event but even that ended with a whimper. Crowd were up and down all night, good in spots but not so great in others. Overall, not one I’m going to remember.”

“3/10- Bad event. Cena and Dom match had a couple Moments of brilliance. Both war games matches were a bore. TKO has this company by the throat and it’s only getting worse. The storylines are absolutely everywhere, there’s hardly any cohesion. Apparently after months of getting his ass whooped by Bron Breakker and The Vision Roman now has his sights set on…Cody Rhodes or CM Punk. I guess he’s back in the title picture and his little side quest is just done? I’ll pass. Austin Theory (I presume) returns and imitates Seth Rollins for some reason. What a flat way to bring him back. 3 hours of a sloppy, self-serving ad-riddled, 4-match event. I might have to retire with Cena. This company clearly doesn’t give a damn about wrestling.”

[2.0] “Probably the worst wwe PLE of the year! It was dreadful. Wouldn’t you think two weeks after AEW blood and guts they try and produce something a lot better! Thank god the price of all wwe events are included in my Netflix subscription, if i paid for it id demand my money bad. There was no effort put into it at all. Extremely lazy. They need to get rid of the giant prime bottle. I hate to say it, WWE is struggling without Vince.”

Plusieurs fans ont toutefois adoré entre autres le retour de Liv Morgan et la prestation de Iyo Sky dans le premier match.
