En entrevue pour The Pat McAfee Show, Brock Lesnar a annoncé qu’il prend bel et bien sa retraite du ring.
Le dernier match de Lesnar a eu lieu samedi, à WWE SummerSlam, contre Oba Femi.
Lesnar a soutenu en entrevue que ce fut un moment étrange et émouvant. Son match contre Femi, à Wrestlemannia 42, avait déjà semé quelques doutes en lui.
“I’m here today to let the world know that I am retired, and I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody. Saturday was a very emotional day for me. Kind of weird because… my heart… when Oba Femi slammed me at WrestleMania, I was like, ‘I can’t do this again. I think I’m done.”
Lesnar a remercié les gens qui l’ont appuyé tout au long de sa carrière, ponctuée de sept titres mondiaux à la WWE en 24 ans.
Il a aussi brillé à l’UFC, ayant détenu le titre mondial poids-lourds.
