Brandi Rhodes ne manque pas d’ambition.
La conjointe de Cody Rhodes, qui a un poste de direction à la AEW (Chief Brand Officer), est actuellement dans une rivalité avec le groupe de Dan Lambert, en venant presque aux coups avec Paige VanZant – bien connue en tant que combattante à l’UFC – la semaine dernière, à Dynamite.
En entrevue pour Sports Illustrated, Brandi affirme qu’elle fera les efforts nécessaires pour s’améliorer dans le ring car elle est très motivée. Elle souhaite éventuellement gagner un championnat, à condition que ça soit vraiment mérité.
“I like to continue to evolve. I was just having this conversation with my husband, and I told him I don’t think I’m ever going to reach a point where I’m not striving for more. I am very driven, and I’ve always been. That was instilled in me by my parents, and that’s who I am.
“There is a lot more I’m seeking to accomplish. I have been in the wrestling business for about 10 years, and I’ve never held a championship. I don’t want it handed to me. I want to earn it, and I’m putting in the work to do that.”
Elle aura toutefois à être très convaincante, car le niveau de scepticisme à son endroit est manifestement très élevé auprès des fans de lutte.
