Bobby Lashley pourrait ne pas lutter à Wrestlemania 38.
Celui qui a été “expulsé” du match final de l’événement Elimination Chamber grâce à une fausse blessure est en réalité mal en point depuis quelques semaines.
Un ancien scripteur de la WWE, Kazeem Famuyide, a mentionné lors du Ringer Wrestling Show que Lashley est en fait blessé depuis le Royal Rumble. Il fait remarquer que Lashley n’a pas très actif à RAW dans le ring récemment, avec aucune défense de son titre.
Famuyide ajoute que Lashley doit se faire opérer à l’épaule, ce qui le forcera à être absent du ring durant au moins quatre mois.
“I have under good authority, I know we’re talking about [Bobby] Lashley. I have it under good authority that Lashley is shoot hurt and has been hurt since the [Royal] Rumble match [against Brock Lesnar], yeah. If you’ve noticed, he hasn’t worked any Raws, he hasn’t really defended his title.
He was shoot hurt at the Lesnar match at the Rumble and again, it was probably — I was wondering how they were gonna work him in there while being hurt and I’m assuming that this ‘concussion protocol’ thing is the way to get him out there and from what I’m told, it’s for at least four months, shoulder surgery. So, I’m hearing that he might not even make it to Mania unfortunately. I mean he’s a freak athlete so there’s a possibility that it’s different.”
PWInsider confirme, après avoir consulté quelques sources à l’intérieur de la WWE, que Lashley doit subir des tests médicaux durant la semaine à Birmingham, avec le médecin James Andrews, qui a souvent travaillé avec des lutteurs de la compagnie.
La WWE a mentionné en mode storyline que Lashley a subi une commotion cérébrale durant le match d’hier.
