Arrestation de Jeff Hardy: Tony Khan lui accorde une (et vraiment seule) dernière chance

Dans le cadre d’un appel-conférence pour faire la promotion de Forbidden Door, Tony Khan, président de la AEW, a commenté la récente arrestation de Jeff Hardy pour conduite avec facultés affaibilies.

Khan a évoqué les problèmes de consommation d’alcool de Jon Moxley, qui a toutefois pris lui-même l’initiative de demander de l’aide.

Khan souligne que le dossier Jeff Hardy est différent (car d’autres personnes auraient pu être impliquées), mais que le lutteur va déjà mieux et qu’il sera à ses côtés au besoin. Khan ajoute qu’il est très heureux que personne n’a été blessé lors de cet incident.

“With Jeff [Hardy], it’s totally different. The way it went down is totally different and that’s why the statements and the way we handled the two things are different. In this case, I don’t think there is any comparison. Jeff is doing much better. As I understand, Jeff is in treatment. I don’t want to say too much about what is going on because it’s his business, but I’m here for him for whatever he needs. I’m really glad nobody got hurt.”

Khan clame toutefois que Hardy n’aura pas d’autres chances de se reprendre à la AEW s’il manque le bateau cette fois-ci.

“I’d be remiss if I didn’t give Jeff a lot of credit for now doing the right thing. This is why we said Jeff has to the right thing if he wants to stay with AEW. It’s [his] last chance.”
