“I love the company. I love the attitude, the exuberance. I love the drive. I love the excitement that I see from the locker room. Yeah, I don’t wanna go anywhere else. I’m good. I did everything I could do there, and then some. And again, they got everything out of me that they could have. So it’s for the better, which is all you can ask for in a partnership.”
“What’s amazing about AEW too is just the freedom to explore and to try things. It’s much more like the Attitude Era in that regard. Because a lot of times when we were out there during Attitude Era, it’s like there might be a plan, but might not be too. Or you might be figuring it out as you go.
My experience by the end of WWE was over-produced, over-rehearsed, over-everything. It kept handcuffs on you to where you couldn’t really explore too much. That’s not the case with AEW. And that again, it’s fun.”
