Adam Copeland et Ricky Starks sont sortis de leurs scripts à Collision

Les échanges verbaux entre Adam Copeland et Ricky Starks, samedi dernier à AEW Collision, ont dérapé car les deux lutteurs n’ont pas respecté les scripts originaux.

Copeland s’est amusé à comparer Starks à une version moins bonne («vanilla midget», soit un lutteur de petite taille) de The Rock, Starks s’est amusé à utiliser le surnom de Copeland à la WWE, soit Edge.

Le problème: il a utilisé l’expression «Over the Edge», ce nom était aussi celui du PPV de la WWE dans lequel Owen Hart est décédé.

Dave Meltzer, de Wrestling Observer Radio, confirme que les deux lutteurs se sont emballés durant cette promo.

Toutefois, Copeland et Starks ont repris leurs esprits en agissant avec professionnalisme.

Il ajoute que Copeland a été «brutal» en utilisant l’expression «vanilla midget» à l’endroit de Starks.

“It was awkward. I mean, it was very clear that something got started, and they were, at that point it was not scripted. One of them got a little bit mad and the other one got mad back, I mean, you can make it work, there’s nothing wrong with it, but it wasn’t smooth, I was like ‘where is this going?’ They’re professionals, and they finished it.”

“You know, it was that vanilla midget line, like wow, what a terrible line, you know what I mean? It was just brutal.”
