Deux matchs de championnat ont été ajoutés à la carte de l’événement Royal Rumble, qui aura lieu dimanche soir.

Voici la liste des matchs jusqu’à maintenant:

Combat “Royal Rumble” à 30 lutteurs avec le titre mondial en jeu (Roman Reigns entrera en première place)

“Last Man Standing Match” pour le titre intercontinental: Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens

Alberto Del Rio vs Kalisto avec le U.S. Title en jeu

Charlotte vs Becky Lynch pour le Divas Title

The New Day vs The Usos pour la ceinture en équipes.

En entrevue pour le podcast de Jim Ross, Steve Austin s’est exprimé sur le grand nombre de lutteurs blessés à la WWE.

Il mentionne que les lutteurs prennent davantage de risques dans le ring, en plus de travailler à un rythme plus rapide, sans avoir de longs congés.

“Man, I think there’s a direct correlation with how the talent works in the ring today. The WWE guys, they’re doing more high risk stuff, they’re working at a faster pace, and it just lends itself to injury. And that’s not me saying, ‘hey, you’re working wrong’. I’m just saying I believe the product is sped up so much that the guys and gals are just working at a very frenetic pace and without any offseason, it takes a toll on the body.”

Ring of Honor a annoncé que AJ Styles fera sa dernière présence pour la compagnie samedi soir (une journée avant le Royal Rumble…), à Duluth, en Georgie.

Il signera des autographes et prendra des photos avec les fans, mais on ne sait pas encore s’il luttera – on peut croire que oui – et contre quel adversaire.
