Voici, en vrac, plusieurs petites nouvelles sur la WWE, la TNA et ROH…
– Mick Foley a réagi brièvement au départ de Samoa Joe de la TNA. Il soutient que le lutteur a sa place au sein de la WWE et que Triple H avait déjà entendu parler de lui en 2004, alors que Joe oeuvrait pour Ring of Honor.
SAMOA JOE IN WWE?
I’d love to see it. A proven commodity given a new surrounding, and possibly a new look could be good for both Joe and #WWE. I remember running into Triple H and Stephanie McMahon – WWE in an airport in 2004, and mentioning I was on the way to a #RingOfHonor show. Triple H went out of his way to say that he’d heard that Samoa Joe was a “hell of a worker”. Hopefully Joe will get a chance to show WWE just how impressive he can be in person.
Do you see Joe fitting in with WWE? If so, how? Maybe as a potential Paul Heyman guy?
– Christopher Daniels et Frankie Kazarian, qui forment actuellement l’équipe The Addiction à Ring of Honor, feront partie de l’émission humoristique “Comic Book Men”, avec Kevin Smith, sur le réseau américain AMC. On les verra dans l’épisode du 1er mars.
– L’épisode de “RAW” de lundi, qui met la table pour “Fastlane”, a attiré 3 997 000 téléspectateurs américains.
C’est une hausse de 9 % par rapport à la semaine dernière (3 658 000 téléspectateurs). La première heure a été la plus regardée, avec 4 138 000 téléspecateurs. Une bonne nouvelle, alors que bien des inquiétudes planaient sur l’intérêt des fans face à ce PPV…
– Dans une entrevue pour Royal Rumblings, Ric Flair soutient que Sting aurait dû joindre la WWE il y a bien longtemps. Il ajoute qu’il garde uniquement de bons souvenirs de lui, affirmant qu’il est un des lutteurs les plus talentueux et gentils qu’il connaisse.
“I think it’s long past due and I wish he’d come a long time ago. It wasn’t from lack of effort on my part that he didn’t. I’d been wanting him to come for a long time and I think it’s a phenomenal way for him to finish up his career. I have so many favourite memories of working with him. One of them is our match when we wrestled for nearly an hour on clash of Champions against Wrestlemania. But one of his first matches was with me and every time I think of Sting, I don’t have a bad memory. He was always a great guy, aside from being a phenomenal talent, he’s one of the nicest guys I ever met.”
– Les spéculations vont bon train quant au retour de Randy Orton à la télévision de la WWE. On pourrait devoir attendre après “Wrestlemania 31″ si on en croit Dave Meltzer, de The Wrestling Observer.
Meltzer avance même que Seth Rollins affrontera Dolph Ziggler à “Wrestlemania”. Orton pourrait toutefois se mêler de ce match.
