Ring of Honor prêt à accueillir Daniel Bryan… qui rêve d’affronter The Bullet Club!

En entrevue pour le blogue FanSided Dailey DDT, Joe Koff, officier en chef des opérations pour Ring of Honor, assure que le tapis rouge sera déroulé pour Daniel Bryan s’il souhaite joindre la compagnie pour un éventuel retour dans le ring.

Koff soutient que la porte est toujours ouverte pour d’anciens talents de Ring of Honor, mentionnant que c’est leur maison même s’ils ont exploré d’autres avenues ailleurs.

“Well I don’t think it’s any secret, and all the previous ROH wrestlers know, that they are always welcome back in Ring of Honor. This is their home, so to speak. We never chided anybody for leaving for what they thought were greener pastures. And look, a lot of them have succeeded on a far greater platform than we could have provided them at the time.

“So if Bryan Danielson would love to come back, I didn’t work with him personally while he was here, but I would personally welcome him back.”

Bryan continue d’ailleurs de nourrir les rumeurs sur un possible retour en tant que lutteur, soit en 2018 alors que son contrat avec la WWE sera terminé. Sur Twitter, Bryan a avoué qu’il adorerait affronter le clan Bullet Club, populaire à New Japan Pro Wrestling et à Ring of Honor, dont Kenny Omega dans n’importe quel grand aréna.

Bryan a également déclaré récemment qu’il peut fort bien lutter à temps partiel, pour un total de 50 à 100 combats par année. Sa volonté de revenir dans le ring, ajoute-t-il, est de 11 sur 10.
