Un gérant de la AEW soutient que CM Punk a quitté la compagnie

Selon le gérant du clan The Firm, Stokely Hathaway, CM Punk a bel et bien quitté la AEW.

Dans le podcast The Sessions, animé par Renee Paquette, Hathaway a discuté de sa déception de ne pas avoir pu travailler davantage avec Punk, alors que MJF et The Firm auraient été impliqués dans une histoire majeure. Les incidents qui ont suivi All Out (point de presse et altercation) ont évidemment tout gâché.

“Everything that was supposed to happen with The Firm did not happen. Back at All out, what happened immediately after the Pay-Per-View, that was a huge part of it.

“[The person] We were supposed to directly feud with is no longer in the company. “

Hathaway mentionne que Punk avait manifesté sa volonté d’interagir avec lui dans une histoire.

“That was one thing I was looking forward to because I was hand-chosen for that role. I’m just going to say it. I don’t know the specifics about people choosing sides. I just know that CM Punk said ‘hey. I want to work with this guy.’ That means a lot, regardless of what has happened.”
