Même s’il n’a pas lutté depuis le Royal Rumble 2021, Kane affirme ne pas avoir pris officiellement sa retraite du ring.
“The Red Machine” a lutté pour la dernière fois – mis à part le Royal Rumble – lors de l’événement Crown Jewel 3n 2018. Il faisait alors équipe avec The Undertaker contre Shawn Michaels et Triple H.
En entrevue pour PWMania, Kane a soutenu que la porte est ouverte pour un dernier match. Il ne sait toutefois dans quelle circonstance ça pourrait arriver.
“I’ll always leave that door open. In WWE we never say never. I don’t know what will happen. I do some stuff here and there in the WWE. That’s a part of me and it’s something I enjoy and want to do for the rest of my life. If it’s something in the ring, I don’t know. Maybe you have to ask Kane that question.”
Son alter ego, Glenn Jacobs, continue sa carrière politique en tant que maire de Knox County, au Tennessee.
