«I see these wrestling fans, who say ‘as good as you are in MMA, you’re horrible in pro-wrestling.’ Alright, why is that? Because I’ve praised AEW? Because I’ve had Daniel Bryan on? What about that day we had freakin’ MJF and Action Bronson on? All booked by me by the way to promote their Queens [New York] show?

These people are insane. I’ve never seen such a sensitive bunch of fans. You’re crazy, and you’ve convinced yourself I have some vendetta against AEW when I’ve talked about them and praised them as much as WWE, and often put down WWE’s product in praising AEW’s product.»

“I don’t know what Bischoff’s vendetta is or what his beef is. Maybe he doesn’t like the comparisons to WCW. But I can tell you this. It’s not just a hobby. It is an actual thing that he [Tony Khan] takes very seriously.

“I do wonder though, as an outsider looking in, call me crazy. He’s got a lot of jobs and there is something called spreading yourself too thin. Maybe he’s paying attention to one more than the other. On paper, the [Jacksonville] Jaguars job seems like a full-time job. On paper, the Fulham [Soccer Club] job seems like a full-time job. The AEW job, in itself, definitely, is a full-time job.

“It’s not just a hobby. It’s a real thing. It’s a real player and its been more successful than any other promotion in the 21st Century. And its the most successful non-WWE promotion since WCW. So we’ll see what happens and we’ll see if he [Khan] is being spread too thin.”
