Rhea Ripley, qui tentera de détrôner la championne de Smackdown, Charlotte Flair à Wrestlemania 39, a un autre titre en tête.
En entrevue pour Sportsbible, Ripley a mentionné qu’elle aimerait affronter Gunther pour le titre intercontinental.
Ce serait pour elle un moment d’écrire une page d’histoire en brisant les stéréotypes reliés aux femmes dans la lutte.
“I would love to face Gunther. I would absolutely be down for that. I would love to try [to] go for the Intercontinental Championship – it would be another history-making event which is all I want [to] do. I want to be remembered for breaking the stereotype for women at the same time.”
Chyna avait remporté cette ceinture deux fois, soit en 1999 et en 2000. Elle aimerait ainsi suivre ses traces, sans être comparée à elle comme tel.
