Match potentiel entre Rhodes et Rollins : la WWE a manqué le bateau selon Booker T

Alors que les rumeurs sont persistantes quant à un match entre Cody Rhodes et Seth Rollins à Wrestlemania 38, Booker T soutient que la WWE a raté le bateau quant à la construction de cette rivalité.

Sur son podcast Hall of Fame, Booker T mentionne que la possible présence de Rhodes n’est pas vraiment une “grosse surprise” car la rumeur circule depuis longtemps sur Internet.

“They said that the WWE is waiting for WrestleMania for the big surprise. How can it be a surprise, first of all? I am just trying to figure this out because I actually read that, ‘WWE is waiting for WrestleMania for this to be a big surprise.’ How could this be a big surprise now, when everybody has been reporting on Cody Rhodes ever since the day he left AEW. How?”

Booker T admet que la WWE n’a pas besoin de bâtir cette rivalité durant une longue période, mais que les fans doivent avoir hâte de voir ce match.

Il ajoute que la WWE doit laisser savoir que Cody Rhodes sera bel et bien à Wrestlemania, car l’intérêt pour ce potentiel match contre Rollins ne sera pas très élévé.

“We are going to find out here relatively quick. Because WrestleMania is upon us, WrestleMania is just a couple of weeks out. My thing is this: if he’s coming, dammit, he better get on board. He better get on this ride, because brother, the train is pulling out of the station. If he ain’t on board, his ass is going to get left behind.”
