Le président de la AEW, Tony Khan a confié, en entrevue pour My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, que ses relations avec la WWE sont cordiales.

Citant comme exemple la récente participation de Chris Jericho à l’émission Steve Austin: The Broken Skull Sessions, sur Peacock et The WWE Network, Khan mentionne que la WWE lui a demandé d’interviewer quelques lutteurs qu sont mainteanntà l’emploi de la AEW pour des documentaires en préparation.

Khan soutient qu’il a l’intention d’accepter la requête de la WWE, qui a été très respectueuse dans son approche.

“They wanted to interview some of the people that wrestle here that used to wrestle there and some people that have had history there or [with] the other libraries that they own,” Khan said on the show. “So, we’ll see. I think I’m open to talking.”

“As long as everything’s classy. And just the way they approached me was very classy. So I have nothing bad to say about that. So, I don’t know if we’ll see that … but I’m considering some of these requests on some of these biographies and it was actually a very nice call I received the other day.”
