Samoa Joe vient d’annoncer qu’il doit renoncer au titre mondial de NXT.
Joe, qui a remporté la ceinture à NXT TakeOver 36 en disposant de Karrion Kross, doit en effet laisser le titre vacant à cause de blessures qui l’empêchent de défendre son titre.
Il affirme croire aux principes de respect et d’intégrité, ajoutant que le “nouveau” NXT mérite un champion qui pourra défendre sa ceinture régulièrement.
“Upon my recent return my goals were very simple — I sought to ensure the respect and integrity due to both NXT and its championship. I sought to ensure that everybody understood that the needs of one individual will never outstrip the sum of the brand. Today I find myself having to stand on those principles.”
“Recently, WWE Medical informed me that due to certain injuries they would like have me step away for a brief, but still indeterminate amount of time.”
Joe promet de repartir à la conquête du titre de NXT dès qu’il sera en meilleure santé.
