Wrestlemania: Dolph Ziggler devait bel et bien affronter Shane McMahon

Nous vous rapportions récemment que la WWE a songé à présenter, à Wrestlemania 34, un match entre Dolph Ziggler et Shane McMahon. Avec les récents développements depuis Fastlane, on sait que ça n’arrivera pas… mais c’était bel et bien dans les plans de la compagnie.

Brad Shepard, de Bodyslam.net, mentionne même que la WWE avait réalisé un élément graphique pour promouvoir le match. Il soutient, tout comme Dave Meltzer, que Sami Zayn et Kevin Owens devaient bel et bien faire partie du Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

“Not that long ago, in fact very recently the plan was for Dolph Ziggler and Shane McMahon to have a one-on-one match at WrestleMania. The plan has changed, it looks like anyway. I am not sure what they are going to end up doing with Shane and Sami and Kevin. They were originally going to be allegedly in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and they announced a one-on-one match at WrestleMania. I don’t know if that’s going to stick. We’ll see what happens, but I am not sure why that changed, but certainly they had a graphic for it and everything.”

Shepard indique que la WWE souhaitait ainsi, avec un match entre McMahon et Ziggler, donner à ce dernier son premier match solo à Wrestlemania.

Shane-O-Mac devrait être impliqué dans un match avec Zayn et Owens, à Wrestlemania 34, probablement dans un “Triple Threat Match”.
