Tony Khan affirme avoir eu de belles conversations avec Goldberg

Lors du point de presse qui a suivi le PPV de la AEW Double or Nothing, Tony Khan s’est fait demander si Bill Goldberg joindra la compagnie.

Khan affirme avoir eu de belles conversations avec l’ancien champion de la WCW et de la WWE alors qu’il n’était pas sous contrat.

Il mentionne avoir une bonne relation avec Goldberg, qui est relié à la famille Wolfson, instigatrice d’un hôpital pour enfants. Khan a aussi rappelé que Goldberg a joué au football professionnel, ce qui contribue à établir des liens avec lui.

Khan a admis qu’il appréciait vraiment Goldberg.

“Yeah, I have talked to Bill. It wouldn’t be that unusual. I’ve talked to Bill when he’s not been under contract at times, and I have a good relationship with Bill. I have had a good conversation with him, but I’ve had a lot of great conversations with Bill. His family has done a lot of great things in Jacksonville, he’s related to the Wolfson family, who built the Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville.

Bill is a great former football star, I worked in football, and it’s a big part of my life. We have a lot in common and we have a lot of mutual friends, and I have a really good relationship with Bill. I like him a lot. As to what I’ve talked to him about, I would say that’s just between the two of us. It was a good chat. I like Bill a lot, he’s a great guy.”

Quant à une question portant sur CM Punk, Khan a simplement mentionné qu’il n’est pas prêt à répondre à cette question, évoquant toutefois le fait que l’émission Collision sera en ondes dès le 17 juin.

“I can’t tell you that. I think it’s a great question. I am not prepared to address that question at this time but I think it’s a great question. I think that’s something a lot of people want to know. And as we get closer to the launch of Saturday Night Collision on June 17 on TNT, I think more and more things will come into focus about that show.”
