Impact Wrestling vient d’annoncer officiellement que Michael Elgin ne luttera plus pour la compagnie.
Suspendu plus tôt cette semaine à la suite d’allégations d’inconduite sexuelle, dans la foulée du mouvement #SpeakingOut, Elgin a fait l’objet d’une enquête par Impact Wrestling.
Voici l’annonce officielle.
“IMPACT Wrestling has announced that Michael Elgin will not be appearing in any further IMPACT Wrestling programming.”
La marchanside promotionnelle à son effigie a été retirée et Elgin ne fait plus partie des lutteurs recensés sur le site d’Impact Wrestling.
Elgin devait participer au combat de championnat à Slammiversary, mettant en vedette cinq lutteurs, dont la championne Tessa Blanchard (qui vient d’être libérée).
Dave Crist et Joey Ryan viennent également d’être congédiés.
Elgin a fait son arrivée à Impact Wrestling en avril 2019. Il a tenu à remercier la compagnie, clamant qu’il aura plus de temps pour son fils.
“I appreciate the time and opportunities given to me with Impact. That locker room, the film crew and all the company officials were a pleasure to be associated with. I hope that in time things get sorted. For now I have to look on the bright side, I have more time to spend with my son and reclaim time that has been missed.”
