La WWE a causé toute une surprise hier soir en ouvrant à son tour la fameuse « Forbidden Door ».
Elle en a effet annoncé que Mickie James, actuellement championne Knockout d’Impact Wrestling, participera au Royal Rumble.
Et, encore plus surprenant, la WWE a annoncé la nouvelle en reconnaissant son titre actuel à Impact Wrestling.
James a été libérée de son contrat par la WWE en avril 2021. Elle avait par la suite dénoncé le fait que des effets personnels aient été envoyés par la WWE… dans un sac à poubelles. La personne responsable de ce geste a perdu son poste.

Scott D’Amore, un des hauts dirigeants d’Impact Wrestling, a confirmé que la promotion est en accord avec la participation de James au Royal Rumble, rappelant toutefois qu’elle défendra son titre ce soir, à Hard to Kill.

Mickie James a manifesté sur Instagram son enthousiasme face à son retour – même si c’est probablement pour un soir seulement – à la WWE.
