Mick Foley heureux d’avoir été « insulté » par Matt Cardona à GCW

Dimanche soir, lors du PPV The WRLD on GCW, Matt Cardona affichait fièrement sur le dos de sa chemise l’expression « F*ck You Mick Foley ».

Le légendaire ex-lutteur a pris le tout en riant, rappelant qu’il a présidé le mariage de Cardona et de Chelsea Green.

Foley apprécie que Cardona, après avoir quitté la WWE (sous le nom de Zack Ryder), a su se réinventer et se démarquer sur la scène indy, comme l’a fait jadis Drew McIntyre.

“Hello everyone, it’s Mick Foley, the hardcore legend addressing the Matt Cardona situation. Matt took a shot at Miss Foley’s baby boy last night with an interesting choice of ring attire and while I appreciate the GCW fans flipping him off on my behalf and while I appreciate my friend, The Savage Gentleman, who’s wedding I officiated, that’s real, wanted to do battle with him on my behalf, the truth is, from a personal standpoint, I was happy for him.

“It made me laugh because I feel Matt was done wrong in WWE, he reached for that brass ring and then was asked to return it. Ultimately, everyone that leaves a major promotion has a choice to make when they go to the independent scene. That choice is A, do I do the same things I did, the things I was known for? Or do I reinvent myself, I call that the Drew McIntyre route, the road less traveled. That’s what Matt Cardona has done, he’s completely reinvented himself and I’m doing so, he has become one of the most enjoyable and valuable assets on the wrestling scene and knowing I’m playing just a small, a tiny part, makes me happy.
