Nous avons tous notre propre idée de qui compose notre top 5 des meilleurs lutteurs au monde. Sports Illustrated a posé la question à Cody Rhodes, seriez-vous surpris de savoir que son numéro un n’est nul autre que … lui-même ! Ce n’est pas la première fois que Cody dit penser être le meilleur lutteur du moment, mais le reste de son top 5 est tout aussi intéressant:
“In the modern era of reality is reality versus perception is reality, it’s simple. I am the best in the world. It’s 1: Cody; 2: Kenny [Omega]; 3: [Kazuchika] Okada; 4: Charlotte; 5: [John] Cena, with [Will] Ospreay creeping up on the list. It’s my responsibility with the event to live up to that ranking. I am unbelievably good at this, because of hard work and dedication.”
Il a aussi profité de l’occasion pour parler de son parcours avec le Bullet Club :
“As the leader of the Bullet Club, I can’t slow down now. I am an example for everybody who thought just slapping the Bullet Club logo on you would define your career. The Bullet Club keeps New Japan Pro Wrestling in the black. Far in the black. Because of me. I’m a part-timer in that company and I hold the Tokyo Dome merchandising record and Osaka’s. Funkos. Bucks on a career run. This Bullet Club may never be topped.”

Hier soir, James Ellsworth a surpris le public en venant distraire Asuka afin d’aider Carmella, son ancienne comparse, à conserver son titre de championne de Smackdown live lors de Money in the Bank !

Plus tôt la semaine dernière, il y avait eu des rumeurs sur sa présence pour le PPV que Ellsworth avait lui-même démenti, expliquant qu’il serait en Chine à ce moment-là. Le secret était bien gardé jusqu’à ce que la compagnie Middle Kingdom Wrestling fasse l’annonce peu de temps avant le PPV:
“James Ellsworth was scheduled to appear this weekend (June 16/17, 2018) in Harbin, China as part of Middle Kingdom Wrestling presents Eyes on the Prize and an MKW Meet N Greet party. This booking has been in place since February.
James Ellsworth informed us last night that he will not be traveling to China. This news came after repeated attempts by MKW management to contact Ellsworth over the last six days to confirm travel arrangements.”
Ellsworth ne semble pas regretter sa décision d’être venu prêter main forte à Mella, selon sa récente publication Twitter, il aurait reçu un bon accueil de la foule :
