Le 9 novembre 2016, la population des États-Unis ont élu majoritairement Donald Trump comme 45e président des États-Unis d’Amérique.
Pour les fans de lutte, on peut se rappeler que Donald Trump a été introduit dans le Temple de la Renommée de la WWE en 2013 avec Mick Foley, Bob Backlund, Trish Stratus, Bruno Sammartino et Booker T. Celui-ci avait accueilli WrestleMania IV et V au Trump Plaza. Les gens se rappellent probablement plus de la bataille des milliardaires à WrestleMania 23 entre lui et Vince McMahon.
Voici la description faite par Wikipedia sur l’histoire entre Vince McMahon et Donald Trump:
”Depuis le début de l’année 2007, Vince McMahon se moque de Donald Trump. Lors du RAW du 12 février, Donald Trump, fatigué des moqueries de Vince McMahon, lui proposait un match à Wrestlemania. Vince McMahon refuse, mais accepte l’autre proposition de Donald Trump qui consiste à ce qu’ils choisissent chacun un catcheur qui le représentera à Wrestlemania et le manager gagnant de ce match pourra raser les cheveux du manager perdant. De plus un arbitre spécial sera choisi pour le match. Vince McMahon choisit Umaga tandis que Donald Trump sélectionnait Bobby Lashley. Bien que Vince McMahon ait tenté d’influencer le conseil d’administration pour choisir Shane McMahon, c’est finalement Stone Cold Steve Austin qui est choisi pour ce match.”
Voici le vidéo qui a été présenté lors de son annonce comme membre de la classe 2013 du Temple de la Renommée de la WWE. Est-ce que la WWE pourrait le faire revenir pour une autre histoire? Je crois bien que ce serait la première fois qu’un président en fonction soit impliqué à la WWE.
-Le champion en équipe de SmackDown Rhyno (Terrance Gerin) a publié sur Facebook un texte par rapport à sa campagne pour devenir le représentant d’État du 15e district de Dearborn au Michigan, où il a perdu face au démocrate Abdullah Hammoud.
“The numbers are in and I regret to say I was unsuccessful in my bid for State Representative, 15th District (Dearborn). But I was very successful in becoming closer to my community, knocking on doors, talking with residents, and just forming a bond.
I knew going into this that Dearborn is a Democratic district and it would be an up hill battle, a battle I was willing to take on. Myself and my volunteers created something out of nothing (a campaign), we pushed forward with honor and pride. I’m very proud to of had them in my corner. I’m also proud of my opponent Abdullah Hammoud, we agreed on some issues and disagreed on others. He and his volunteers worked extreme hard and did it with honor. It was a clean race that focused on ideas and issues.
I would personally like to thank every person that voted for me, I’m deeply honored to of earned your support and vote. Thank you!
One of the many things I enjoyed in my campaign was talking at schools in my community, something I will continue to do moving forward. The kids loved me being there and they had great questions. I know I’ve inspired them. Hopefully I inspired you! So go to council meetings, volunteer in your community and just get involved. We all know it’s a great feeling when you make a difference in someone’s life.
