Bryan Danielson très fier de contribuer à la progression de la AEW

Lors du point de presse qui a eu lieu après Double or Nothing, Bryan Danielson – en mode «face» – a partagé sa joie de contribuer à l’essort de la AEW.

Danielson, qui a été entraîneur pour plusieurs lutteurs de la AEW, s’est vu également confier des responsabilités au niveau créatif.

Il est très fier de faire partie de la AEW, comme lutteur et en général. Danielson aime bien le produit offert par la AEW, soulignant le talent de plusieurs jeunes lutteurs.

Danielson ajoute qu’il n’a jamais été dans une compagnie qui avait autant de coeur pour les lutteurs. Il mentionne que c’est intéressant d’avoir une saine compétition pour la WWE.

“Oh gosh, it’s really hard. I don’t know. I’m really proud of the work that we’re doing here and proud of the work that I’ve been able to do. I never thought I’d do another hour long match again in my life and I’ve done two of them. I’m very proud of both of them. I’m proud of the work that we do here. I’m proud of the wrestling that we do here. I’m proud of a lot of the talent especially the younger talent. When you feel like you start getting old. You see these people who, when I first got here, they came up to me and said, ‘I watched you when I was a kid,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, no.’ But then to see them grow in just a little over a year and a half that I’ve been here. It’s so rewarding. So yeah, I love the experience.

I’ve never been at a place where the company has so much heart for the wrestlers. That is so meaningful and it makes me feel so grateful for this place. Not only to have like… it’s great to have a second option and a competitor to the company that kind of had a monopoly on TV wrestling for the last however long, but to do it with such grace. To be so successful so quick. Look at how many tickets have we sold at Wembley at this point. It’s unbelievable. It makes me feel proud just to even be here.”

Danielson affirme avoir une belle complicité avec Tony Khan, ayant plusieurs idées qui rejoignent les siennes.

“I love working with Tony and I love working in AEW. It’s a lot of fun. Because sometimes before I even got here, Tony and I would talk on the phone sometimes for like an hour and a half to two hours and we would just be talking about things and wrestling and that sort of thing. I think we have very similar, like we have a lot of similar ideas on wrestling. Sometimes he says things to me and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s a great idea.’ We riff off each other really well. It doesn’t even….when we do it, It doesn’t even feel like work. It’s like when you love wrestling, you know it’s uh….yeah, stuff like that is fun.”
